I would wait for good wipe (new zones, armor, general fix etc). If he make just wipe with 0 chages its pointless in my opinion

Maximus when you can make wipe ? Already server is empty. 130 online with boxes so maube 50 real players. Chat empty, pvp empty, oly empty, pvp/raids empty. Only tw and siege work and last day oly sometimes.

Tell us because we want know and stop ignore players. WHEN YOU CAN MAKE WIPE ?

Dear Admin Team,

I am writing to you as a veteran Lineage 2 player who has returned to the game after a long hiatus due to real-life obligations. Now that my circumstances finally allow it, I joined your server hoping to relive the joy and nostalgia of the gameplay we experienced 15 years ago. However, playing exclusively as a Mage, I am reaching out to express my strong concern and disappointment regarding the current balancing, specifically the hard caps on Magic Critical Rate and Magic Critical Damage.

When I first started PVE on this server, I found it strange that despite having full buffs for critical rate, I rarely landed critical hits. Initially, I assumed it was due to my gear. Consequently, I decided to invest heavily in my character to fix this:

I acquired a Valakas Necklace.

I optimized my setup (Dyes/Equipment) to maximize WIT.

I spent 2 full days using Life Stones, trying to catch a passive or active Magic Critical skill on my weapon.

After achieving all of the above, I still felt something was wrong. That is when a clanmate suggested I check my detailed statistics using the ".stats" command. The result was shocking: All my effort and investment in gear/LS were essentially wasted, as the Magic Critical Rate is hard-capped at 16%, regardless of what I equip.

To ensure I wasn't mistaken and to verify this before I bring it to your attention, I conducted a direct comparison test:
I created an Archer with zero investment. I gave him a simple Icarus Spitter (Focus), basic dyes (DEX+4 / CON-5), and?ironically?I left him wearing a Karmian Set (not even light set). With full archer buffs plus Berserker Dance (removing Song of Earth), the Archer immediately hit the 500 Critical Rate cap.

I went to the Training Dummy in Giran to test the output, and the results (which you can see in the attached screenshots) highlight a massive imbalance:

Mage (Full Gear/Epics/Life Stones): Max Critical Rate 16% ? Critical Damage multiplier approx. x3.

Archer (Karmian Set/Basic Weapon): Max Critical Rate 50% (500) ? Critical Damage multiplier reaching approx. x8.

You can see in the screenshots the difference in action. I even continued the hits with the mage until finally there was an MC to show the damage multiplier.

This disparity makes Mages practically obsolete, not only in PVP and Sieges where the disadvantage is clear, but even in Raid Bosses?something I never imagined would be the case.

Under these conditions, there is absolutely no incentive for anyone to play a Mage. The gap in performance is chaotic and nullifies any effort put into gear progression.

I kindly ask you to review the attached evidence and rectify this injustice by adjusting the stats to more reasonable levels. Not everyone enjoys playing Fighters or Archers, and I sincerely hope your goal is not to run a "Fighter-only" server.

If Maximus is going to implement changes, it would be best to follow the example of the L2Exilium server. Why? Because it's been around for a very long time, and the admin there is amazing and does a great job.

Every so often, it introduces significant changes. Players who have reached the endgame can't get bored because there's always something new to conquer.

The new things that Maximus will introduce should have a very high price.

A system for crafting unique items should be implemented. If you want to obtain one of the several required items, you'll need to attend both the Olympics and PvP. Additionally, you'll need to farm a lot of items dropped by both mobs and raid bosses.

Weapons should be introduced like in L2Exilium. Demonic weapons. Levels 1, 2, and 3. Each of them should be very difficult to obtain. They should require a lot of time to acquire. Then people won't get bored.

Plus skins. Obtaining the right combination could allow you to gain a passive skill that could add 1-2% to your p.def, m.def.

Same with cloaks, belts, bracelet etc etd


Oly time like 14-18 and 20-24 will be good too

With autofarm, the server reaches an audience that no longer has time to farm. If you can implement it with hourly tickets, this could also generate trade between players. Exilium and Dex use a ticket-based farming system, which would be interesting here.

Max, also consider interspersing sieges and TW on weekends. It's very exhausting to have two big events every weekend.

And think carefully about the oly schedule. As I said, you have the potential to reach a huge audience if you adapt the schedule, and if you don't, many will stop coming because this is an attraction for daily logs that is currently unfeasible for us.

Other servers make this schedule adjustment. Exilium, for example, has Oly at two different times, one to serve the European/Asian audience and another to serve the Latin American audience.

I bring up the example of Exilium because it is a stable server like yours. The server suffers from other problems because the admin modifies all classes, turning it into a different game.

Do you have an idea of a date for this new beginning?

Ty for ideas, @Rocker I can add auto farm if you really want it is really easy to make but limited usage/time since I do not like this idea too much.

The idea of a wipe only makes sense if the staff first addresses the main problems with the server and resolves them for the new "season". My suggestions:

a) Oly schedule - Most of the server today is Latin American (i.e., players from countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay...). The staff needs to adjust the schedule to accommodate this audience as well. Obviously, it won't please everyone, but the most sensible and fair thing to do is to set a schedule that suits both European and Latin American audiences. This is a simple change with the potential to bring many players from other servers here.

b) Creation of an entry proxy for Latin American players. Currently, players outside Europe who do not pay for a VIP proxy play with a ping of 200+. Many servers do this, such as Viserion, Scryde...

c) Some way to publicise the new opening, attracting new players.

d) Organisation of Discord (the current one is neglected) as a tool for contact and engagement with players.

e) Hiring a new launcher, if possible with auto-farm. Viserion is stuck in time; there are modern launchers with features that make the game much more attractive to new audiences. To cover the costs, you could run some kind of opening promotion.

f) Release periodic grades(e.g. Vesper until day 40, Elegia +60) and epic events with fixed schedules.


Btw Rocker.. i dont play on brasilian server and i dont cry for lag or delay. Maybe latino player from america will not play to EU server and do not cry for delay, hmm ? What you think ? We play on EU server and we want EU time everything.. If i want play in night with latino i go join to latino server. Delay and time is your problem, not EU players.
