Hello, I want to share some ideas to improve the server:
1. Premium Coin (PC) Acquisition Mechanism:
Currently, players can earn Premium Coins (PC) simply by being AFK at City. To foster active participation and enhance the server's dynamics, it is proposed to link the PC rewards to the completion of specific mini-quests. These quests should encourage diverse activities across different server areas, including:
Farming a certain amount of a specific monster in PvP zones.
Participating in a set number of PvP battles.
Engaging in various server events.
Completing a certain number of Olympiads.
Staying outside city areas for designated periods.
The goal is to promote server activity by encouraging players to explore and interact with different aspects of the game, rather than remaining idle in city areas.
2. Korean Style Event Bug:
There is a notable bug in the Korean Tournament event where players can attack opponents before the initial 10-second waiting period expires. This issue particularly benefits archers, who can eliminate their enemies within this timeframe, undermining the fairness and competitive integrity of the event. Immediate rectification is recommended to ensure a level playing field for all participants.
3. Farming and Drop Ratios:
The current drop ratios for scrolls (EAS, BEAS, BEWS) and various elemental stones, as well as other significant items, are excessively high (the succes enchant ratio is very high too, for scrolls, stones and codexs). This has led to an overabundance of well-equipped players, reducing the need for farming and PvP interactions in areas like Dragon Mage. To preserve the game's challenge and encourage active participation, a significant reduction in these drop ratios is urgently needed.
4. PvP Balance and Critical Damage:
Critical damage within PvP encounters has been identified as overly potent, potentially necessitating a cap reduction to ensure balanced and fair combat. Adjusting the maximum limit for critical damage could enhance the strategic depth and enjoyment of PvP battles.
5. Raid Boss Adjustments:
Zaken and Tezza: The difficulty and drop rates for these raid bosses are generally appropriate, though a slight reduction in jewel drop ratios could be considered to maintain their challenge and value.
Freya Hard Mode: The current setup allows for excessive use of secondary melee characters (e.g., DB1, GK1, Duelist2) who engage in automatic attacks, diminishing the intended challenge. To address this, it is proposed to increase Freya's physical defense (Pdef) and decrease its magic defense (Mdef). Additionally, transforming Freya's raid zone into a PvP area could stimulate server activity and uphold the server's PvP focus.
Valakas and Antharas: These raid bosses are currently too easy, failing to offer a significant challenge or promote PvP interactions. Enhancing their health, damage output, and environmental damage could revitalize these encounters, making them a true test of skill and coordination with the risk of defeat.
These recommendations aim to balance gameplay, encourage active participation, and ensure a vibrant and dynamic server environment for all players.
I think there are more things that can and/or should be improved (such as Geodata in the olys) but these are some of the relatively simple and urgent ones.
Thanks for your time.
