Old L2Viserion V1 - Keep it alive?

If you really want to keep the old server alive, then this can be done, I can change the system connection patch but instead of smart-guard you will have lameguard.

Server will be alive for those who want to compare things, test, play normal or for those that are simple fond of the server.

Server will not receive any updates and will stay online as much as ppl play in it.

Sorry but my opinion is to have just one server(does not matter which one) otherwise you split people and population on server will be low.

I never intend to split the community in 2, this first edition server will not receive updates, possibly I will add 2 GM's to maintain it.

I do this because some players are skeptical about the new server and by comparing those 2 versions of L2Viserion they will understand why wipe was needed and will return to Viserion version 2. This is not intended for the new players.

You may download the first edition connection patch to connect to the first version of Viserion from:

Temporary there are many players still connected to the server even if no one can connect to the server now, so when I will restart the server you may use the system above.

L2Viserion First Edition is up, you may now download the system to connect, if you have issues connecting like critical error just download the system again.

Max, honestly, I think you are a well-intentioned guy, but allow me to make a critical comment, the way you conducted the wipe / update is a real disaster.

Maintaining the two servers now is to postpone death, dividing the community.

As I said yesterday, your server is good for farm and very receptive to new players aiming at the end-game. If the wipe had been thinking from the beginning, with a massive release of the new Viserion, it would have been really cool. However, this was not his option.

My suggestion for you to save the community. Cancel the launch of today, keep it as Beta, redo the opening announcements for new viserios in ex...15 days, think about some benefit for your current players (to encourage them to migrate, Ex: full clan for larger guilds...), release Deadz at the start of the new server, which is based on Farm. Deadz helps a lot in boss, augment, up etc ... Blocking after some time, but give people time to reach the end game.
